FACTUAL HQ DESIGN

I designed the new headquarter office for Factual. The office spanned 2 separate floors of the Sun America Center in the heart of Century City, Los Angeles. Starting with a completely undeveloped space, I transformed the office with custom murals, illustrations and paint to reflect the bright and energetic culture of Factual.

  • A new space

Starting with a completely blank slate, I worked with the office planers to define the best surfaces to brand.

  • Technical planning

I created all technical files for signage and mural manufacturers.

  • Installation

I oversaw all installation of artwork throughout the space.

  • Factual values

As a reminder to employees to uphold Factual’s corporate values, I created a series of typographic designs that were applied along the desk areas.

  • Glass walls

Glass walls were installed around the office to keep the space bright and airy. I used simple vinyl designs to add unobtrusive branding.

  • Painted surfaces

Using paint, I strategically used the Factual colors to bring brand consistency into the office spaces.

A welcome place.

An important part of this office design was to ensure it felt warm and inviting for both employees and clients. Taking advantage of the ample natural light, each surface took into account how colors and artwork would amplify the office location and structure.

Custom murals.

The largest illustrated mural that I designed was a long a U-shaped wall. The concept of this mural was to use Factual’s location data to highlight beloved LA landmarks.

Company values.

Large typographic murals were designed to remind employees to uphold the Factual values.

Employee input.

Conference rooms were designed with input from team leads to include their likes and inside jokes. As Factual is heavily comprised of engineers, general use conference room signs paid homage to famous engineers.
